I have a soft spot for a good story. I spent my childhood making little books, reading books and filling notebooks, which eventually led me to work with words. Now I also have the pleasure of regularly indulging in stories with my two little girls. 

Early on, I fell in love with magazines and they remain one of the loves of my life to this day – evidenced by many bulging shelves and tabletop piles. They also inspired a career move into magazine publishing where I was able to  hone my skills on an editorial team.

In the past fifteen years, I’ve worked with some wonderful clients developing editorial-style tones, crafting content strategies and helping to bring brands to life with words. From gentle and refined to feisty and playful – I’m adept at working with a range of different tones and take pleasure in doing so.

There’s more to it than finding the right words though – it’s about how we work together too. I’m an empath by nature which lends itself well to helping others in establishing genuine connections through words, but also in creating great working relationships. Consider me a collaborator in problem-solving, incredibly reliable with deadlines and diligent down to the last detail.
